What are you most concerned with when you are job hunting? According to a survey conducted by Careers site Glassdoor, nearly 7 in 10 respondents (68%) reported that salary and (A) compensation would be valued the most before accepting a job. Earlier this month, Glassdoor ranked the top 25 high-paying jobs with (1) C-suite level ones excluded. Take a look and see if your job is on the list. With two factors considered – (B) median base salaries and number of job openings, physicians (2) took the top spot with a median base salary of $180,000 and 2,064 job openings. Lawyers seized second place at $144,500, with 995 job openings while third place went to research and development managers. Other than these traditionally highly-paid positions, it's no surprise to see that 11 of the top 25 highest paying jobs are within tech and engineering sectors Glassdoor's findings demonstrate that higher salaries (3) go hand-in-hand with higher education and skills that are in demand; therefore, it's not surprising that all of the top jobs pay (C) a six-figure salary.
